Stage 2: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Microsoft for Startups investor offer startup must meet the following criteria:
1. Startup must be affiliated with an investor who is a part of the Microsoft for Startups Investor Network.
2. Startup is engaged in the development of a software-based product or service that is a core part of their current or intended business. The software must be owned and not licensed from another party.
3. Startup has received fewer than $350,000 in lifetime free Azure credits.
4. Startup is headquartered in a country where Azure services are available.
5. Startup hasn’t raised Series C funding.
6. Startup is privately held.
7. Startup is a for-profit business.
8. Startup isn’t an educational institution, government organization, personal blog, development shop, consultancy, agency, or involved in bitcoin or crypto mining.

Stage 3: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus offer startup must meet the following criteria:
1. Venture-backed B2B technology company with demonstrable traction
2. Address the critical capabilities in the Retail, Healthcare, Cybersecurity,
3. and Data & AI sectors (soon Financial Services as well)
4. Software solution that can be transacted on the Azure commercial marketplace
5. Ready to deploy or currently deploying workloads on Azure
6. GTM Team in place (CRO and CMO)
7. Company is less than six years old and on an accelerated trajectory
8. $1M+ in ARR
9. Signed up for Microsoft for Startups Portal
